Hocking Hills
This weekend Tom and I and his side of the family went down to Hocking Hills, its this really pretty state park that has Waterfalls, cliffs, Huge drop offs and lots of hiking trails. We rented this really nice cabin for the weekend and it was so relaxing. It was nice to be back, this is where we had our honeymoon. By the way Tom happy anniversary! love you! xoxo
This is one of our favorite parts. It is at the end of the trail at Cantwell cliffs and it totally looks like something out of lord of the rings. very magical.
This is me coming up the lord of the rings stairs.
This is still at Cantwell cliffs. This was a little nerve racking with Chris having Jack in the backpack, Nancy holding on to Jess for dear life, and Tom being a daredevil and climbing all over the rocks.
Again beautiful but scary at the same time.
I cant really remember where this was, all the pictures kinda fall in to one. But Tom climbed up the rocks next to this drop off I kept yelling at him "We don't have health insurance Get Down!"
This was just really pretty, Its hard to believe that this is nestled in Ohio.
Tom and Jessica climbing on a tree. She didn't want to get down.
This was at Old Mans Cave or as Jessica called it "the man cave", It was really big and had lots of beautiful spots. They didn't get a lot of rain this year so the waterfalls weren't going. I remember when Tom and I were here this spot was raging.

Nathan
Amber and Nathan are here visiting and its so much fun having them around!! Sunday we all got to hang out, at first Nathan was a little shy of Tom but that didn't last to long, after about and hour they were best friends.
We went to Indian springs park on Sunday and Nathan loved playing on all the toys, but he seems to think that they are only for him and he gets so upset if you put your foot on the slide or try to help him. He kept telling Tom "No Tom no.." But he did eventually let Tom help him on the slide.
Just like the side Nathan didn't really want help on the rope climb but he let Amber help him after he couldn't do it.
I love this picture they look so cute.
Tom being a cute uncle and giving Nathan a shoulder ride back to the car.
Tom is so good with little kids it makes me happy.

Arrrrgh Matyes!!!
So Tuesday night around 930 my eye started hurting. I thought that maybe something was in there so we looked and there was nothing. Wednesday morning I woke up and it still hurt but not horrible. So I went to work and as the day was going on my eye was hurting more and more and watering and swelling and getting red and having these pains where all I wanted to do was swear and fall on the floor. So finally I got to leave work and I went to the doctor...after that horrible saga of driving all around I went to Doctor O'neils office. They said it is a bad infection (not pink eye) they gave me drops and some Tylenol 3 for the pain. It helps but still hurts. It doesn't feel to much different right now but it should get better.
My eye looks good here... not as swollen as it was earlier.. :(
Yesterday was moms birthday so I was over there after the doctors. We found that it felt better to cover my eye so we put the patch on it, Nathan was staring at me and Amber said Aunt Michelle is a pirate and Nathan thought that was funny so for the rest of the night I was "pirate" or "Aunt Shell pirate". Kinda funny.
Don't worry its okay to laugh.:) I look like Sloth from the Goonies.

7 Quirks
Well Andi tagged me to share with everyone 7 little quirks that I have about me.. Like she said hopefully you all don't think that I am to crazy. :)
1. If I am wearing socks, long enough pants or a blanket is covering my feet I have to stick them between my toes.
2. Since I don't have a dishwasher I cannot go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink, ill do them at 200 in the morning if I have to.
3.I need the clothes in my closet to be in color order and go from long sleeve to short sleeve.
4. Every time I leave the house I re put on my deodorant.
5. I wont sit down on public toilets.
6. I get really nervous at checkout lines, I don't want to keep people waiting so that results in me always fumbling to get my card out of my wallet and then trying to put it all back in my purse before the next person is putting there things on the table... I think "Hurry hurry hurry hurry!!!"
7. I love bacon and pickles.
I tag Amber, Nancy, Dawn, Emily, Rachel and mom and dad to do this... Its kinda funny when you realize all your little quirks that you have.

Happy Birthday!!
Well yesterday was my birthday. It was pretty good for the most part... except for the fact that I got sick at work. Tom and I did go out to dinner last night and at the time it really tasted good, but later last night not so much. So that sucks to have the flu on your birthday. ( Its those dang kids at work their all ways sick.) But I did have a really good weekend, Tom, myself and mom and dad went to cedar point for a couple days and that was lots for fun. (I need to get copies of the pictures then I'll post them). Sunday we celebrated with his family and that was good. They got me lost of fun gifts, I felt really loved.
Mom took me shopping last week and got me my birthday gift, so it was a good weekend- even though I was sick.
This is me with all my birthday gifts from his family.
Nancy and Rebecca got me all these fun Christmas and Halloween decor. And you cant see them but Tom got me this huge picture puzzle book that I love doing and he got me this cute Dooney&Burke red clutch.
I look pretty rough in these pictures... but here is my ice cream cakes. Very good.
Nancy and Rebecca also got me this bag of HUGE pickles. They are very good. That was awesome.
Then you cant see that Amber sent me these REALLY cute Thanksgiving and Halloween decorations, which I love so thank you. And that Andi sent me this REALLY cute purple purse. Thank you.
So really it was a good birthday!

Renaissance Festival
This year Tom, myself, Seabass and his parents went to the Michigan Renaissance festival. I haven't been in a few years so I forgot about all the weirdos that come to this event. I'm kinda sad that we didn't get any pictures of them. But we did have a good time. Tom got me my birthday present there...( Wind chimes not some crazy corset outfit or anything.) There are some more good pictures I wanted to post but my computer wont let them download, so sorry these are the ones you get.
You cant go to the Renaissance festival with out getting the huge turkey leg. I have never had one before it wasn't to bad actually.
I really love pickles.. like a lot. But not as much as Andi who drinks the pickle juice I guess that's where I draw the line. But they have these HUGE pickles that just taste AMAZING!! I enjoyed every bite of that pickle. And you gotta love the look Toms giving me.

CREEPY!!!!
These are everywhere in the apartment!!!!
I'm not feeling to well today I think those kids got me sick, so I thought hey my body aches I will take a bath... yea 3 of these things in the tub! 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH SO HORRIBLE!!!! Yea I didn't take a bath.
Check out all those creepy legs and long feelers.. And I know those are legs or some thing in the front but they look like fangs!!! When the small ones are running around I don't freak out to bad and I can sometime smash them, but the BIG ones NO WAY!! Tom has come home many times from work and the floor is all sticky from me spraying either 1. Hairspray or 2. Bathroom cleaner and then there is a cup on the floor with the bug in it. Oh they are just so creepy and scare me, Tom has sprayed bug killer but yet they are still getting in and living in the bathroom shower curtain.
Just thought I would let you all share in the Horror of these bugs. Oh and P.S. Tom finally put some new things on his blog!! Not much but he did :)

You know how you get those days were it is just a crappy day and your sad. These are the days that Andi would say "Are you PMSing" and I would just say "I DON'T KNOW!" Well today was one of those days. I Had a long day at work, I didn't get the GM job that I was hoping for, Tom got to hang out with the family. I was just sad. So I thought I would post all the things that make me happy and what I am thankful for. So to all of you I love you and Thank you for making me happy.
This is the BEST thing in my life. Tom I love you, its you who no matter what can make me the happiest, and for that I am thankful to you. When I have these days you just laugh and then it seems like everything is alright. SO thank you for always making me so happy.
Come on if you don't know why this makes me happy then were not that close. :)
Just the fact that I got you two as my sisters.
How can my family not make me happy? I just love you guys and am thankful; for all the memories we have together and that great love that we share.
I just love Toms brothers and sisters.. Nancy I'm so glad your here in Michigan with me you keep my homesickness for my sisters at bay.
I just love Gorillas I think they are amazing animals and they make me happy.

NEVER CHANGE YOUR BACKGROUND!!!
Well this is a warning to those of you who have fancy little backgrounds for your blogs. I thought to myself today well Toms home teaching, I'm bored so maybe I'll switch the background on my blog. I found this really cute one that I liked, went through this big hassle to put it on, then everything on my blog was gone. All my widgets, pictures, EVERYTHING! So I start trying to do things to make it better and its just getting worse and worse to the point that I didn't even have pictures on my blog I have words and codes. So finally after about 2 hours some how I figured something out and fixed it. So that's why if things seem crazy or if I left you out on the side that's why. My point is just leave your background the same, its too much of a hassle to do.

Trip out to West and Seabass Wedding
Toms brother Seabass got married this past weekend and we were all there. Tom myself and his parents drove out to Utah on a 4 day trip. I wont lie and say that it wasn't long and tough sometimes but it was really a awesome trip. We went to Nauvoo and saw the pageant there, we went to Carthage and Independence which were all nice reminders of the church history and what Joseph Smith Went through. On the last leg of the trip we drove through Rocky mountain national park which was a beautiful drive then we were in Utah. It was so nice to be with the whole family and see everyone, I even got to spend some time with Amber which was wonderful. Friday morning we all went and saw Batman which was sooo good. I recommend you go see it! But it was a great trip and I really love Toms family so much they just have welcomed me in and love me too like a sister. I am sad that we are not all together. so enjoy the pictures!
This is all the grand kids, Once again it was very late and they were tired, so this is the best picture that I was able to get of them.
Me and Lora gotta love that pose.
So for the wedding Suzanne wanted all the little girls to wear these white dresses with this teal ribbon around it. Frank was taking a picture of Suzanne and the girls and Ethan wanted to be in the picture but he couldn't, So he goes and sits down on the floor and says "I'm so mad at my mom right now". It was really funny.
This is Suzanne and the girls.. why Ethan got upset.
Me and Tom at the wedding reception.
While driving through the mountains Tom and Ralph wanted to have a snowball fight. I think I did a good job with the picture.
Allie Conner and Tom
This is Joe and his wife Leah. Tom and Joe have been nest friends for a long time. It was so nice to see them we haven't seen Joe since our wedding. His wife is pretty she has some killer cheek bones!
This is Seabass and Suzanne coming out of the temple. We are soooooo happy for them!
This is the best picture that I could get of all the kids together. It was getting late and people were getting a little not so happy anymore so its a quick picture but one of the better ones. There they are all 7 of them!
This was in the Nauvoo visitor center. We really thought that this was a beautiful statue.
This is the Mississippi river, one of the spots where the saints crossed.
Nauvoo Temple. It is so pretty.
We went to the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was super cold up there but very pretty to look at.
Ralph thought it would be a good idea to stop and take some pictures right on the side of the mountain on this HUGE drop off. I was to scared to get out of the car.
